H685-7628_v5.10.xx Firmware Downloads

This page contains firmware downloads for certain variants of the H685 4G router. The models listed below currently use this firmware series (units manufactured since November 2025).

OIder units before this date use the legacy firmware series H685-7628_v3.3.xx (Click here to visit the firmware download page), and due to their hardware specifications are unable to upgrade to the latest firmware series in this page. However firmware for the older series is still updated with feature updates and security patches.

H685-7628_v5.10.55 – August 2026

  • Added support for secure NMS remote management, allowing access to the router WebUI and SSH through an encrypted security tunnel.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent firmware upgrades from being completed through the NMS platform.
  • Removed the Encrypt option from NMS remote access settings.
  • Fixed an issue where firewall port forwarding rules could conflict with the IP Whitelist feature, preventing expected access in certain configurations.
  • Updated the SMS application.

  • Added a new Encrypt option for NMS remote access connections.
  • Added MQTT support.
  • Fixed a ZeroTier issue that could cause the router to generate a new node ID after each reboot, resulting in loss of network membership and requiring reauthorisation.

H685-7628_v5.10.53 – June 2026

  • Added support for the new NMS platform, including remote access to the router WebUI and SSH management.

H685-7628_v5.10.51 – May 2026

  • Added support for the Qualcomm QCA9984 wireless chipset.

H685-7628_v5.10.50 – April 2026

  • Two related security issues in the IPsec PSK handling have been fixed. The PSK could be briefly written to standard output during service start, where it could potentially be captured in logs or diagnostic exports. The runtime secrets file holding the PSK was also readable by local non-privileged processes on the device. Remote access to the VPN is not affected. Customers using IPsec VPN are advised to upgrade as soon as possible and to rotate the PSK on each device after upgrading.

  • Fixed web GUI issue that sometimes cannot click left menu.
  • Shortened waiting time after save button clicked.
  • Fixed SNMPv3 issue that was caused on configured change which then stopped functioning.

  • Updated SLM750 driver to latest version.
  • Fixed L2TP issue where it waits long time to reconnect.

  • Added full duplex and speed configuration options on LAN config page.

H685-7628_v5.10.40 – November 2025

  • First firmware level of the series. If your device shipped with H685-7628_v3.3.xx it cannot be upgraded to the later series v5.10.xx.
