The Proroute 4G router provides the user with the reliability and functionality associated with the Proroute 3G Routers, but utilises the new high speed 4G mobile broadband services to deliver super fast download and upload speeds.
The H685 4G router is based upon the already popular 3G version of this router but uses an embedded4G LTE module offering high speed 4G connectivity with backwards compatibility with 3G network services so the router can be used in areas that don’t yet have 4G network availability.
Installation of the Proroute 4G router is via the web interface and the intuitive menu system will enable you to get connected with the minimum of fuss and the H685 4G router has been successfully tested with Everything Everywhere 4G SIM cards with impressive results.
For users that need to use the router for remote connectivity over 4G then the router supports DYN DNS which is essential because EE do not yet have any Fixed IP SIM card options available on their 4G network because they have been unable to roll out the 4G network connectivity to their MVNO partners who normally offer the Fixed IP SIM’s but we have been advised that 4G Fixed IP SIM cards should be available mid 2013.
